New York City – Here are some pics from the Joe Cuba – El Alcalde Del Barrio release party. It was so much fun and we got a lot of pictures that we would like to share here with you.  Everybody had a great time, the room was full of people dancing and we were honored with the presence of Larry Harlow, Joe Bataan, Fania musicians and a lot of young people that love what Fania is about.

 

With this event we paid tribute to Joe Cuba, who passed away a year ago. We had Chico Mann and Boogaloo Assassins playing Joe Cuba’s tracks,.Plus, dj Turmix and Bobbito Garcia spinned a lot of Fania records and Boogaloo music to keep everybody dancing.
