In 1976 the great Mongo Santamaria recorded two albums for Vaya Records, a subsidiary of Fania: Uban with Justo Betancourt and Sofrito with one of his funk afro formations. “La Hora Faniática" tells the circumstances of this particular recording testimonies of the protagonists.
