This was a suite that aimed to trace the history of Afro-Caribbean music, from the times of colonialism to its urban transformation in the 20th century. La Hora Faniática tells how the idea came about, how it was recorded, who took part and what happened to them afterwards.

Also, on August 14 there will be a remarkable full-length concert performance of the complete work (This is a FREE concert). Conducted by Harlow with a 40-piece orchestra and chorus, Rubén Blades reprising his historic role, and Cuban singer Adonis Puentes. It may be the high point of a highly musical summer at this year's free Lincoln Center Outdoors festival. That day Harlow will also have an in-store appearance from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Borders store in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle.
