Fania is the symbol and synonymous with the best salsa brava, and also the sound memory of a fascinating period in which urban Caribbean music became a legend. In 1978 Tito Puente leads a heterogeneous big band in order to make the record Homage to Benny, which meant for El Rey del Timbal his first Grammy award. La Hora Faniática reconstructs the reasons behind its recording, the events that took place in the ceremony, the impact of the recording and later anecdotes, in a program full of bits and pieces.
