As Joe was "El Alcalde del Barrio"...as a young guy I was "El Alcalde del Ritmo en Suburbia"--for about a couple hours a day, home from school, before the neighborhood dads got home from work, I would put on the stereo headphones, sit at my drums, and play along with my dad's record collection...which included cool stuff like Ellington, Cal Tjader, Ahmad Jamal...and JOE...if I got carried away, hitting those accents on "Bang Bang", and dad came home...I'm grateful to say that sometimes he'd listen a little before flicking the lights on & off (his signal to get me to stop)! I can't wait to hear these songs again & relive those times.

There's maybe A THOUSAND WAYS to get it, but the best way (and is not telling everybody I'M INSANE! and watch them COMO RIEN) is going BANG BANG and tell everybody which SWINGING MAMBO is gonna be held A LAS SEIS with MACORINA and the PSYCHODELIC BABY when I win and play both cd's HECHO Y DERECHO in my place, near LA MALANGA BRAVA.

I know that LA CALLE ESTA DURISIMA but when we start this party with both cd's I know everybody will go BOOM BOOM LUCUMI because JOE CUBA YA LLEGO. Even ARINANARA will have TEMPTATION to go crazy with JIMMIE'S JUMP, MAMBO OF THE TIMES, PREGON CHA CHA, WABBLE CHA and JOE CUBA'S MAMBO, until the police arrives late whistling EL PITO.

So, cheer up MUJER DIVINA, please don't be BOCHINCHOSA. COMPONTE CUNDUNGA; AUNQUE TU don't admit it, you REMEMBER ME and know that i just want TO BE WITH YOU because THIS IS LOVE and only LOS DOS will manage a way to win "El Alcalde Del Barrio"!
