LEBRON BROTHERS
This family of musicians from Brooklyn, New York is made up of José, pianist, arranger and co-leader; Elliot, singer of the Latin Soul repertoire; and Angel, who got the brothers a contract for a debut LP recorded for George Goldner's Cotique label. The tracks "Summertime Blues” and “Mala Suerte” were included on the album Psychedelic Goes Latin. Pablo Lebrón recorded five of the nine tracks on this album.
The parents and older siblings of the Lebrón family were from Aguadilla,Puerto Rico. A younger generation was born in New York.
The brothers' fifth album was titled Llegamos - here, Pablo was in charge of performing all of the songs. The collection included eight salsa tracks such as
“Mi Fracaso,” “En El Balcón Aquel,” and “Sin Ti.”
This stunning collection includes some of the orchestra's best songs, from “Salsa y Control,” “La Envidia”, “La Tumba,” “Abran Camino,” “Moros y
Cristianos,” “Yo Canté,” and “Tú Llegaste A Mi Vida."
